PAD OF DEFINITIONS
ANGEL
Children of God, the angels refer to themselves as brothers and sisters, considering each other family. Serving humanity, they protect and guide their Father's creations, and have assumed control over Heaven in His absence, adhering to His word under the command of the Archangel Michael. They possess unique powers and abilities, and their true form is unable to be seen by the human eye, their Grace potent enough to harm those who look upon it.

DEMON
Created by the fallen angel Lucifer, demons are loyal to their leader although they have not seen him with their own eyes. Once human, their soul is tortured and stripped of its humanity in Hell. They typically cause trouble, either out of enjoyment or business, and like angels, can possess a human vessel, though they do so without consent. Their abilities range from demon to demon, depending on their rank and role, but they are still much more powerful than humans, and pose a threat to those who cross them.

No longer connected to The Host, fallen angels are those cast from Heaven either for their rebellious nature or by their own hand. Lucifer and his followers draw on Hell's energy to retain their powers, while angels cut off from both Heaven and Hell completely, gradually lose their abilities, becoming mortal.

They can also be summoned by witches and demons, held against their will and forced to do their bidding.
